These boots are a great deal!!! I got the tan and the beige, because I couldn't decifer which color I wanted. When I received both, the colors were very similiar to each other. The tan definitely had a reddish tinge, and the beige were more of a light neutral brown, and the distressing looked better on these. I sent the tan ones back. These boots are true to size. I fluctuate between and 8 1/2 and a 9, but most always a 9 in boots. I have a high arch and a wide front part of my foot. I also have an obnoxious bunion below my right big toe, which makes it hard to find comfortable shoes. These boots accommodate all of that. I am 5'9, and I love that these boots come all the way up to my knee cap. The inclined upward front top of the boots, makes your legs look even longer. And they stay up!. No slouching. I have normal size calves, but I think these would be workable with any calf. They are great with skinny jeans, leggings and casual dresses. The leather is soft, but almost suede like because of the distressing. These boots would not take kindly to polishing of any kind. My husband, who is extremely critical of women's footwear, instantly complimented me on them. The price is fantastic! I think with the shoe sale going on last month, I paid $70 total on Amazon. These are a great low heel,understated sassy/edgy look(with the lace up back) tall boot, that will prove to be very functional.

Boots are true to size & look better than the pics online. Only wore once so far and were pretty comfortable as far as breaking in & hope they hold up & last

I really wanted boots this color, and this price was hard to beat. I'm always worried about buying boots online because I have pretty muscular calves, and many boots tend to be tight on me in that area. Unfortunately, these were as well. I was hesitant to purchase, but did anyway because I couldn't pass up the price or the look of the boot. They are pretty stiff as well and that combined with the tightness on my calves, means a return will be in my near future. Bummed!
Edited 1/31/13 to add that I just sent these out yesterday through UPS (free return shipping! Just had to print the label!) and I already received an email from Amazon stating my refund was processed. Amazon ROCKS. It's no wonder I live on on this site!
